🔶 A federal judge in the United States overturned the ban on three media outlets’ entry to the White House

A federal judge in the United States temporarily halted Donald Trump’s action to ban three news media outlets from entering the White House. Under this temporary ruling, the Trump administration was instructed to restore access for journalists from CNN, MSNBC, and Politico to the White House. The journalists’ access to these outlets had previously been revoked.

Trump had initially said that he had cut off these media outlets’ access to the White House because they published “fake news.” Later, the White House accused these media outlets of endangering the “national security” of the United States without providing any evidence.

CNN, MSNBC, and Politico had previously described the ban as an “outright violation of the legal right of press freedom and a form of discrimination.”
