🔶 “Trump TV”; White House response to critical media

Amid an ongoing dispute with several American media outlets, the White House has begun broadcasting programming from its dedicated internet channel.

The institution has launched a live broadcast channel titled “Trump TV,” which initially featured speeches by Donald Trump, the U.S. president, as well as military exercises by his country’s armed forces. Images of these military exercises were accompanied by a narrator’s voice praising the capabilities of the armed forces.

The White House has said that the channel is intended to broadcast daily, around the clock, “with a selection of past events, announcements, as well as the latest and most important news from the government.”

So far, no dedicated original programming or journalistic content has been seen on this channel. The White House has been providing live coverage of Trump’s public appearances at various events for some time.
