🔻 Persepolis reportedly, after rejection of Esteghlal’s complaint due to the use of Yaser Aasani in Derby 107, has submitted three new requests about the appeals session by sending a letter to Mehdi Taj, the head of the Football Federation of Iran.

🔹 These requests include holding a hearing session in the Appeal Committee with the presence of the club’s lawyers and representative, recording the full video of the proceedings for documentation and for the ability to review the issues raised, and finally providing the possibility to broadcast the session online so that the public can become aware.

🔹 Last week, the Disciplinary Committee of the Football Federation rejected Persepolis’ complaint about Yaser Aasani’s presence in Esteghlal’s lineup. The red-clad side argued that the termination of Aasani’s contract and Esteghlal’s closed transfer window made the player’s participation in matches unauthorized.

🔹 The Disciplinary Committee announced that, based on the view of the League Organization’s Transfer Committee, Aasani has been identified as an active and eligible player. According to this committee, “Given that the termination of his contract has not been registered in official and international bodies, Aasani’s contract with Esteghlal was recognized as valid.”
