The released video from the inauguration ceremony of one of the wastewater projects in Maragheh shows that the officials present at the ceremony paid tribute to Ali Khamenei, the former leader of the Islamic Republic, and Mojtaba Khamenei, the new leader.

The state news agency IRNA reported that the ceremony was held as part of the State Week programs, and involved the opening or groundbreaking of seven water and wastewater projects with the announced budget of more than 130 billion tomans (about $630,000 based on the free-market exchange rate). According to IRNA, these projects include transmission lines and wastewater networks, as well as the construction of rural water storage tanks, and will cover tens of thousands of people.
