🔸A video of Ali-Osghar Payghambari, one of the detainees in the Dey 1404 protests who has been sentenced to death, is being reshared on social media.

🔸According to reports, Payghambari was arrested after the release of this video and was released after twenty days upon posting a bail of five billion tomans.

🔸Payam Darfashan, the lawyer of Ali-Osghar Payghambari, on Monday, the 9th of Shahrivar, said that there was no connection between his client and hostile groups, and reported on the Supreme Court confirming his client's death sentence.

🔸Darfashan told the news website Emtedad: «Ali-Osghar Payghambari’s death sentence was previously issued by the Tehran Revolutionary Court, with reference to the Law on Intensifying the Punishments for Espionage and Cooperation with the Zionist Regime.»

🔸This comes while, according to this lawyer, the claims indicate that «there has been in no way any organizational or other connection between the client and any of the hostile groups, and Payghambari was only present in the protests.»
