🔸Masoud Pezeshkian says that if the United States returns to its commitments within the framework of the “Islamabad” agreement, Tehran will also take “immediate” reciprocal action.

🔸The President of Iran, who traveled to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, to attend a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, on Tuesday, 10 Shahrivar, accused the U.S. government of “violating its commitments” in his remarks and said: “But I state clearly that if the United States returns to its commitments in the memorandum of understanding in question, the Islamic Republic of Iran will also immediately take reciprocal action.”

🔸Pezeshkian’s remarks come while, previously, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council had announced six conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, which included payment of “fully and without reservation” compensation for the damages from the two wars of 12 and 40 days, lifting sanctions, and also the “unconditional” release of Iran’s frozen assets.

🔸Following attacks attributed to Iran against several oil tankers in mid-Tir of this year, the U.S. Army carried out attacks on various points in Iran for two weeks, and the military forces of the Islamic Republic also targeted several Middle Eastern countries with missile and drone attacks.
