Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei:

If Muslims had been united, one and powerful, would the people of Palestine have been left so defenseless and subjected to the oppression and crimes of the occupiers?

And would the countries and nations living in the areas around the Persian Gulf have faced this situation if they had established their unity under the banner of Islam? Would rootless and corrupt elements dare, from thousands of kilometers away, to set their sights on their lands and wealth?
