🔶 Climate change; a request to record heat as a cause of death

The German foundation “Support for Patients” has called for heat to be listed as a cause of death on death certificates.

In this regard, Eugen Brix, chairman of the board of the foundation, told the newspaper “Rheinische Post”: “The consequences of climate change must eventually take on a visible face.”

According to him, the Robert Koch Institute calculates the number of heat victims with the help of statistical modeling and artificial intelligence, but no one knows the exact figures.
