The Deputy Prime Minister of Poland said an act of sabotage had occurred at the Starlink satellite communications ground station.

According to Krzysztof Gawkowski, the incident took place on the evening of Wednesday, the first day of Mehr, and despite a fire in the power supply source, the station’s systems are currently operational.

He noted that “this act of sabotage was deliberately designed to put the Starlink ground station out of operation and, in practice, to cut internet connectivity and create disruption to internet access for various organizations, including the Ukrainian army.”

The Deputy Prime Minister of Poland said it is still not clear whether Russia is responsible for this sabotage, but many signs suggest that the incident is consistent with Russia’s new doctrine for attacks.
