Hosseinali Hajideligani, Vice Chairman of the Majlis Commission on Article 90, in the public session and Monday webinar of 19 Mordad, criticized the economic performance of the Pezeshkian government, saying, “The government does not have an economic plan,” and called for the formation of an “economic war room.” He linked the increase in the prices of essential goods and cars, and the state of the exchange rate, to the government’s policies.

Hajideligani, by referring to the trilateral agreement between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey, said it is “a sign of acceptance of America’s defeat in the region” and predicted conditions in which America has left the region.

He also, by referring to the Caspian Sea Convention, said: “Why is the President rushing to approve this convention?” Hajideligani added that this action “practically reduces Iran’s share from 20 to 25 percent to 3.5 to five percent,” and said Iran’s share of the seabed, subsoil, and the surface of the Caspian Sea has not yet been determined.
