🔻Human rights groups issued a call for “urgent help” regarding the situation of two Palestinian families who are under siege by settlers in the occupied West Bank, warning of the situation.

The homes of these two families in the occupied West Bank have been surrounded by Israeli settlers since Sunday, 18 Mordad.

Extremist settlers in the village of Qasra, located south of Nablus, have set up a new outpost alongside the homes of Palestinians and cut off water and electricity.

They have prevented seven people, including two young girls, from leaving their homes.

The Palestinian families contacted the Israel Defense Forces and requested help, but later a video was released showing Israeli soldiers praying with these settlers who had brought the homes under siege.

Under international law, these settlements are illegal.

In recent weeks, the European Union and human rights bodies affiliated with the United Nations have repeatedly warned about the escalation of violence by Israeli settlers against Palestinians. 📷Anadolu via Getty
