In the latest development in Donald Trump’s tense relations with the media, he announced that, in an immediate move, he is barring the entry of three outlets—CNN, MSNBC and Politico—to the White House.

CNN immediately described the move as an “unlawful attack” on freedom of the press in the United States and strongly condemned it. This action by Mr. Trump is likely to face legal challenges.
