Interview with Mehrdad Khonsari; Have Iran and the United States become closer to an agreement?

🔸 Along with signs increasing that there are continued indirect contacts between Tehran and Washington, Donald Trump has said there is “a lot of momentum” to reach an agreement with Iran.

🔸 At the same time, the U.S. president warned that if activity is observed at underground facilities associated with the alleged “Kelengzha” near Natanz, Washington may target them.

🔸 These remarks are being made while the two sides have exchanged messages through a Qatari intermediary in New York, and at the same time, the issue of Iran’s nuclear program, the security of the Strait of Hormuz, and the future of regional tensions have been at the center of attention.
