🔶 "Iran’s conditions have reduced hopes for reopening the Strait of Hormuz"‎

Mohammad-Bagher Zolqadr, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic, announced on Saturday, 17 Mordad (August 8), that before reopening the Strait of Hormuz for maritime transit, the United States must accept several conditions from Tehran.

In this regard, he called for the lifting of the naval blockade and sanctions against Iran, the withdrawal of U.S. military forces from the vicinity of Iran, the payment of war reparations, the release of Iran’s blocked assets, and also an end to attacks against the Islamic Republic’s allies in the region and threats against Iran.
