🔻Iran’s Judiciary has announced that it executed an Iranian citizen after a trial on charges of «spying for Israel».
Mizan News Agency, affiliated with Iran’s Judiciary, reported that the person was named Hossein Padaran and that he had «provided the sensitive military sites information in the Isfahan province to Mossad.»
Mizan said that «given the equipment discovered from Hossein Padaran and his confessions, a bill of indictment for the charge of spying and providing information in favor of the Zionist regime, which included starting to cooperate as an intelligence source with the hostile U.S. government through submitting requests for cooperation and announcing his willingness to be a spy service of the U.S. government, along with several other charges» was issued.
According to Mizan’s report, the execution of Hossein Padaran’s death sentence took place after it was confirmed by the Supreme Court.
In the Judiciary’s report, no precise time of arrest, the location of the trial, or details raised in court were mentioned.
