Israel Hayom wrote in a report that war, sanctions and mismanagement have intensified the economic hardship crisis in Iran and have increased inflation, reduced purchasing power, and raised the prices of food and medicine, putting pressure on households and the middle class.

According to this outlet, reduced oil revenues, trade restrictions, shortages of energy and water, and the closure of factories have also added to economic problems. Israel Hayom did not consider sanctions the only factor behind the crisis and cited corruption, mismanagement, and the extensive presence of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the economy as other causes.

The report added that economic pressure has sparked protests among different groups, and some analysts consider it a factor in pushing the Islamic Republic toward negotiations.

However, the Israeli experts cited by the outlet warned that increasing pressure does not necessarily lead to the government backing down and may instead drive the Islamic Republic to intensify domestic repression or take military action in the region. Israel Hayom concluded that rising economic dissatisfaction will not necessarily lead to the collapse of the government.
