🔸 Israeli media reported that the head of Mossad has dismissed two officials in charge of Iran affairs within this intelligence organization.

🔸 Channel 12 reported that Romen Gofman, the newly appointed head of Mossad, has dismissed two of the senior-most officials in this intelligence organization who had a close role in drawing up a failed plan to overthrow the Iranian government.

🔸 According to this report, one of these officials had been in charge of the Mossad Intelligence Directorate since last December, and the other was the head of the Iran unit in this organization.

🔸 Channel 12 says the two people were the main designers of a written operational plan for the overthrow of the Islamic Republic, which relied on using Kurdish armed groups in Iran and encouraging the revival of broad protests to bring down the government in Tehran.

🔸 Earlier, many reports had been published saying that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in order to persuade Donald Trump, the U.S. president, to enter a war with Iran on 9 Esfand last year, had put forward this plan.
