Masoud Pezeshkian, on a trip to Kyrgyzstan and in a meeting with India’s prime minister, said that the Islamic Republic has been committed to the obligations it accepted within the framework of the agreements, but the American side has not carried out its commitments.
Pezeshkian added: “We will continue to try to bring about the path of agreement and understanding, and we believe that the continuation of the war is to our detriment, to the detriment of the region, and not in line with the interests of humanity.”
The head of the Islamic Republic government also said: “India’s capacity to help strengthen peace and stability in the region is significant.”
