Merad Vaisi, senior analyst at Iran International, said: “Two issues in today’s messages from the people stood out: families’ concern about the safety of schools in wartime conditions, children’s academic decline, and an increase in the cost of education. The other issue was the worsening shortage of gasoline and diesel and the closure of some fuel stations, even in Tehran; a situation that has led some truck drivers to wait in line for one to two days to receive fuel.”
