Lindsey and Craig Foreman’s family, a British couple who have been imprisoned in Iran for 600 days, pointed to the return of staff from the British Embassy to Iran and demanded an immediate meeting by officials from this country with them, proper access for the couple to medical care, and action by the British government to free them.

Members of Foreman’s family said in a statement on Wednesday, 4 Shahrivar, that British Embassy staff returned to Iran last week after a temporary departure, but they have still not received confirmation that British officials have met with Lindsey and Craig.

The family members also expressed concern about the couple’s physical condition after a prolonged hunger strike and said that neither of them has yet received a proper medical examination.

According to them, Lindsey and Craig lost a significant amount of weight during the hunger strike and are now working to regain their physical strength.

The family of the imprisoned British couple in Evin said in a statement on Mordad 19 that Lindsey and Craig ended their hunger strike after nearly three months in protest against the behavior of officials of the Islamic Republic toward themselves and other prisoners. https://
