Mourad Vaisi, senior analyst at Iran International, said: “The Islamic Republic not only has abandoned the main duties of a government—from ensuring security, water and electricity, and jobs to healthcare and honorable pensions—but has also turned into a factory for producing daily problems for the people. “The fact that it has not been a problem-solver and has instead become a “problem-maker” is one of the most important reasons for the people’s hatred and their demand for the swift overthrow of the Islamic Republic.”
