🔶 Pezeshkian Defends the Islamabad Agreement: Critics Have No Hand on the Fire
Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, responded to criticism of the Islamabad agreement in a ceremony attended by members of the cabinet, accusing the critics that they “do not know the matter or have no hand on the fire.”
According to ISNA, the Iranian president, in his remarks, pointed to how this agreement was formed and said: “What we reached in the process of the agreement was, after extensive discussions and negotiations, the result of the expert consensus of everyone who had a hand in the matter—ranging from the fighters and security managers to the implementers, lawmakers, and judges.”
Pezeshkian, with direct criticism of opponents of this agreement and those who deny it, said: “Those who do not want to think, whatever you tell them, they won’t listen.”
Pezeshkian described Iran’s current situation as an “all-out economic, military, and security war.”
