Qasem Rezaei, deputy commander-in-chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Law Enforcement, referring to the killing of Hamidreza Rajabzadeh, a government eulogist, said: “The incident is not political and security-related murder; it was an individual matter, like other cases that occur across the country.”
Earlier, judicial officials of the Islamic Republic had reported the discovery of the burned body of Hamidreza Rajabzadeh, a 30-year-old government supporter eulogist, in the outskirts of Tehran. Police have arrested four men and one woman in connection with the case, but the motive and details of the killing have not yet been officially announced.
