🔻 Reuters, citing three “sources familiar with the matter,” reports that Saudi Arabia has resumed operations of the “East-West” pipeline and may also resume exports from Yanbu port in the Red Sea as of today, Tuesday.

Drone attacks on this pipeline prompted Saudi Arabia to halt the transfer of oil via the “East-West” pipeline on September 13 (22 Shahrivar), and it was then reported that loading of crude oil at Yanbu port had also been stopped.

By delivering oil to Yanbu port via this pipeline, Saudi Arabia exports its oil without needing to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
