🔸A Russian drone attack on a shopping center in the city of Kryvyi Rih in south central Ukraine has left at least 14 people dead and more than 100 injured; local officials say some children are among the victims.
🔸The attack took place on Friday, 30 Mordad, in two waves, and, according to Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, in the second wave Russian drones targeted the rescue forces that had been dispatched to the site.
🔸Zelensky, who was born in Kryvyi Rih, called the attack “shameless and disgusting” and wrote on the social network X: “Such attacks are nothing but terrorist acts.”
🔸He also said the world must respond to these attacks with “real pressure on the aggressor,” and hours later emphasized that Ukraine “will certainly respond.”
🔸Oleksandr Hanzha, the regional governor, said that as a result of the attack, parts of the shopping center and a number of the stores inside it caught fire.
🔸According to him, at least 121 people were also injured in the attack, 22 of whom were children.
