🔶 The emirate, after repeated attacks on its ships: We will defend our sovereignty and interests

Reuters reported that ADNOC, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, confirmed that one of its ships was targeted in an attack on Friday, August 14 (23 Mordad), while passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

According to a statement by the UAE’s official news agency, no one was injured in the attack and the situation is now under control.

Meanwhile, Anwar Gargash, the diplomatic adviser to the President of the United Arab Emirates, after repeated attacks on ADNOC’s oil tankers, said Abu Dhabi would defend its sovereignty and interests.

He wrote in a message on the X network: “We will protect our rights for freedom of navigation, while continuing the path of dialogue and prioritizing diplomatic options.”
