The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic spoke by phone with the United Nations Secretary-General about the agenda of the UN General Assembly.

According to Tasnim News Agency, Abbas Araghchi, immediately after arriving in New York, held a telephone conversation with Antonio Guterres, and the two sides also exchanged views on efforts to advance international peace and security.

Masoud Pezeshkian, the head of the government of the Islamic Republic, will travel to New York on Tuesday to attend the General Assembly.
