🔻The Taliban government’s Ministry of Higher Education has asked Afghanistan’s private universities that from now on they should not admit new students in the fields of law, political science and international relations. Officials from several private universities, in talks with BBC, have confirmed that this order has been officially communicated to them. Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Taliban government, also confirmed the news and said it would likely include universities which, according to him, had been weak in teaching law, political science and international relations. Mr. Mujahid said that these fields have been strengthened in public universities.
