The Yemen government recognized by the international community condemned the Saturday morning attacks on Riyadh “in the harshest terms” and called them a “clear violation” of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In a statement, Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it holds Houthi rebels responsible for the attack, adding: “It also holds the Iranian regime responsible for the continued military support for them and for enabling them to continue their attacks in line with its regional agenda.”
The ministry said it supports any measures that Saudi Arabia and the alliance forces led by this country take for “deterrence of attacks and protection of the security of the kingdom.”
The Yemeni government continues to receive military and alliance support from Saudi Arabia.
