🔺UAE has returned 200 containers of Iran’s fruits and vegetables
▪The head of the National Union of Agricultural Products said the United Arab Emirates has returned more than 200 refrigerated 40-foot containers carrying exported Iranian fruits, vegetables, and produce.
▪Reza Norani said these shipments, with an approximate volume of four thousand tons and a value of about three million dollars, are currently stranded in the vicinity of Abu Musa island, and the UAE has yet to provide an explanation regarding the reason for this action.
▪The return of the shipments took place amid the complete suspension of the UAE’s commercial dealings with the Islamic Republic. On Amordad 28, following the Islamic Republic’s missile strike on UAE vessels, Abu Dhabi announced an indefinite suspension of all commercial and financial transactions with Tehran. Although part of the trade has still remained in place.
