🔺US, Denmark and Greenland security agreement; NATO takes on a wider responsibility in the Arctic

◾The United States, Denmark and Greenland are set to sign a new agreement on Greenland’s security on Tuesday, 31 Shahrivar, which, according to the Danish foreign minister, places responsibility for providing security in the Arctic largely within the framework of NATO. President Trump says this agreement gives the US “permanent control” of Greenland’s security.
