🔹To register for the eighth-grade class at a public sample school (madrase namoone dolati), we have to pay five million tomans, while they say schools do not have the right to take money.

🔹I am an employee at the Tоos power plant in Mashhad. All 4 of our water well rings have gone muddy, and we’re continuing with only one well ring. The situation has become so critical that we were forced to shut down one unit and start early maintenance.

🔹I’m an engineer with 26 years of experience working for the Municipality of Zahedan. Our livelihood is so devastated that my wife has been ill for months and is essentially fading away in front of me, but I don’t have the money to take her to a doctor. On the other hand, the municipality also reduces our overtime every month due to insufficient income.

🔹How can I live with 35 million tomans when one kilo of potatoes is 100,000 tomans, chicken is 1.5 million tomans, and the rent for a place costs less than 20 million tomans—there’s no less than 500 million tomans for the deposit.

🔹By God, one meal a day is all I can manage to eat. And after all that money and dollars in Lebanon for the tunnel has to get burned and go to waste.

🔹From the time the price of the third round of gasoline was announced, neither have the gas stations been busy, nor is there a shortage of fuel. They’re only standing by with two-hour shifts out of fear of public protests so that people won’t protest at the gas stations.

🔹I’m 55 years old. Out of fear of the treatment costs for a kidney stone, I was hospitalized in bed for two weeks, and because I didn’t have the money, I couldn’t go to any medical center.
