🔸 Zakani: During the attack, a missile directly hit Majtaba Khamenei’s house at the residence compound

Alireza Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, said in a video interview with ISNA that during the time of the attack by the United States and Israel on the Leader’s residence on 9 Esfand last year, a missile directly hit Majtaba Khamenei’s house.

In this new account of how Majtaba Khamenei was injured, Zakani said that he was present at Ferdowsi Square at the time of the attack and, after the missile hit the Leader’s residence, he rushed to the scene within the first few minutes. He said the missile had hit “directly the floor” where Majtaba Khamenei was living, and that the former Islamic Republic Leader’s son was “one of the main targets of the enemy.”

Zakani added that Zahra Haddad Adel, the wife of Majtaba Khamenei, on that day because of a “headache” intended to leave the house later than usual, and at the moment the missile struck she was “present at the same location” along with her husband. He said that the attack resulted in Zahra Haddad Adel’s death and Majtaba Khamenei’s injury.
