A decision to expel a student from Sharif University of Technology has been “approved” by the Ministry of Science
After the president of the University of Tehran said today that an expulsion order has been issued for two students who had “insulted the Iranian flag,” ISNA News Agency reported, citing an informed source at Sharif University of Technology, that the expulsion order for a student of this university has been approved and will be communicated to him soon.
The report has described this student as one of the “main leaders of the gatherings in Esfand 1404 at Sharif University.”
According to this report, the expulsion order has been approved after review by the central disciplinary council of the Ministry of Science, but it has not yet been officially communicated to him.
According to a report by ISNA News Agency, “ambiguity about the timing of sessions of the central disciplinary council and delays in announcing the results of some cases have raised questions about the process of issuing and carrying out disciplinary rulings in universities.”
