The news network “CNN” says, relying on statements from four knowledgeable sources whose names have not been disclosed, that an intelligence report distributed this spring amid the war with Iran in the U.S. army led the country to the brink of war with China.

“CNN” says that this intelligence report, which indicated that a Chinese ship was carrying parts related to a nuclear weapons program, caused the U.S. military to become ready to track this vessel.

Then the U.S. armed forces personnel were prepared to board the ship, and U.S. military aircraft also took off to carry out the operation.

But just before the planned operation was carried out, a more detailed review of the initial information led officials to find that the report had been prepared with the help of artificial intelligence, and that the chatbot used by an American military analyst had mistaken the cargo of the ship.
