A video of Taraneh Rahimi, a 20-year-old protester from Isfahan and a horse training and equestrian coach, has been shared on social media. Taraneh Rahimi is one of two detained twin sisters in the so-called “Martyrs’ Square” case, who were sentenced to death at the first instance court. Her twin sister, Romina Rahimi, was also sentenced to 25 years in prison in the same case. Based on information published by human rights sources, before her arrest Taraneh Rahimi spent her life with horses and in equestrian fields. These sources also wrote that during her imprisonment she suffers from a lung illness and severe damage to her leg.
