🔻Foreign ministers of four neighboring countries of Iran called for restoring diplomacy to end tensions in the region

On the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, currently underway in New York, the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia held a consultative meeting and also issued a statement.

In the statement, concern was expressed about the continued tensions in the region, and diplomacy was announced as the path to “achieving sustainable solutions.”

The foreign ministers of these countries also emphasized the necessity of adhering to the Islamabad agreement for “lasting peace and stability.”

In the statement, attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, including the recent Houthi attacks, were condemned.
