🔸Iran’s judiciary said on Sunday that a French-language training center affiliated with this country’s embassy in Tehran was shut down, accusing it of carrying out “illegal activities.”

🔸Majan, affiliated with Iran’s judiciary, citing the Tehran prosecutor’s office, said the French language training center CLF was “illegal” and was therefore “sealed.”

🔸The Tehran prosecutor’s office claims that the French language training center in Iran was carrying out “projects against Iranian-Islamic culture” and “was identifying, building networks, and facilitating the departure of elites from the country.”

🔸The French embassy in Iran has not yet responded to this statement from the judiciary.

🔸Relations between Tehran and Paris have been marked by tension in recent months.

🔸In August this year, France said it had ordered the expulsion of two Iranian diplomats in response to the brief detention and the ban on the activities of two French diplomats in Iran.

🔸Tehran had accused those two French diplomats of “interfering in Iran’s internal affairs.”
