Iranian media say three people were killed in clashes between Iran’s IRGC intelligence forces and the occupants of an “armed” vehicle.

IRNA has written that the clash began after IRGC intelligence forces became suspicious of a vehicle. Iranian media said these individuals were members of the “Jaish al-Adl” group.

It is reported that the clash lasted nearly two hours. According to reports, two people were killed in the clash and the third, who was injured, died shortly afterward.

In recent weeks, clashes in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province have increased, and repeated reports have been published about deadly clashes in Zahedan, Mehrestan, and Saravan.

In recent days, Iran’s security institutions also reported the killing of Molavi Yousof Garigej in Zahedan by “unknown individuals” “in front of his home,” and attributed the act to armed opposition groups.
