The Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic said he has reported serious disruption in the country’s civil aviation radar systems and stated that, due to the lack of radar, the guidance of some flights is carried out mentally.

Farzin Nadimi, a defense and security affairs analyst, said that if aviation radars are disrupted, pilots can continue the flight relying on navigation systems and aircraft equipment, but if navigation systems are also affected by disruption, the risk to flights increases significantly and the likelihood of flight cancellations—especially in unfavorable weather conditions—will be higher.
