🔻Oman and flydubai request creation of a new air route in southern Iran
The Civil Aviation Organization of Iran has reported that it is reviewing a request from Oman and flydubai to create a new air route in the south of the country.
According to the Civil Aviation Organization, this route is being studied with the aim of improving and facilitating air traffic and increasing the attraction of flights in southern Iran.
A few days ago, the aviation organization announced that flydubai flights and the flights of the airline Air Arabia—following the pursuit of this organization and coordination with the airports company—have resumed flying through Iranian airspace.
The move comes after ongoing negotiations and consultations with Oman, and seasonal authorization has been issued for flydubai to use Iranian airspace.
