On Monday, 9 Shahrivar 1405, a number of job-seekers in Gachsaran County held a protest gathering against the recruitment process for personnel at the Lishter refinery. In a video released of the gathering, gunfire by police forces can be seen as they disperse the protesters. Some reports also indicate that one person was injured during this shooting. The gathering was held in protest of how personnel are recruited and hired at the Lishter refinery—an installation that has recently been inaugurated.
