The spokesperson of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the country will continue to work toward fulfilling the objectives of the Islamabad agreement between the United States and the Islamic Republic.
Taher Andarabi, on Wednesday, 21 Mordad, said in a press conference that Pakistan will make every effort to bring the two sides to the negotiating table and to pave the way for peace and stability in the region.
Without naming any country, he warned that Pakistan will take action to “neutralize disruptive factors through direct and indirect channels.”
Referring to the visit of Pakistan’s foreign minister to Tehran, Andarabi said that “bilateral relations, security-related issues, and regional developments” were the main focus of talks between Mr. Mohsen Naqvi and officials of the Islamic Republic.
