🔶 Qatar’s prime minister travels to Tehran to discuss de-escalation of tensions
Majed Al-Anṣari, the spokesperson of Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced on X on Wednesday, August 26 (September 4) that Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the country’s prime minister, will travel to Tehran on Thursday.
He is expected to meet in Tehran with a number of officials of the Islamic Republic and discuss ways to reduce tensions.
Ismail Baqai, the spokesperson of the Islamic Republic’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also said that during his trip to Tehran on Thursday, Qatar’s prime minister will discuss the continuation of Qatar’s mediation efforts and other developments in the region.
