🔸 Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and de facto ruler, Mohammed bin Salman, will begin a two-day trip to France on Sunday, the first of Shahrivar, in which developments in Iran following the war between the United States and Israel, as well as the situation in the Middle East, will be among the topics of his talks with Emmanuel Macron, President of France.
🔸 The Élysée Palace has announced that Mr. Macron and the Saudi crown prince will discuss “key regional issues.” According to Paris, these talks, given the current circumstances, require close coordination by France with its partners in Gulf countries to strengthen stability and peace in the Middle East.
🔸 Saudi Arabia, a close ally of the United States with a long history of tensions with the Islamic Republic, is closely following developments in Iran after the war between the United States and Israel.
🔸 Mohammed bin Salman and Emmanuel Macron will also preside on Monday over the first session of the Saudi-French Strategic Partnership Council. During the trip, several agreements in the areas of health, transportation, and energy are also expected to be signed.
