🔸 The Financial Times writes that shipping data and satellite images show that at least over the past week, no oil tanker has loaded at Khark Island, Iran’s main oil export terminal; a situation that, according to the newspaper, could be an indication of a halt in Iran’s crude oil exports following the resumption of the U.S. maritime blockade.

🔸 According to this report, export activity at Khark Island has stopped since 31 July (9 Mordad), and satellite images also show that all three berths on the island have been empty for an extended period. About 90% of Iran’s exported crude oil is loaded at Khark Island.

🔸 The “Coalition Against Nuclear Iran” group has also announced that since 12 July (21 Tir), it has not identified any oil tanker carrying Iran’s crude oil that has been able to leave the Persian Gulf.

🔸 However, Iran continues to earn income from shipments that previously left the Persian Gulf and are now reaching Asian customers, but experts say this source of revenue may also stop in the coming weeks.
