🔻Trump: If necessary, I will use new tariff powers against Russia

Donald Trump, in continuing his remarks at the UN General Assembly, said that the United States is still seeking to end the war between Russia and Ukraine. He added that last week he signed a law that grants him extensive new powers to impose tariffs. Trump said: “If I have to, I will use them. It is time for the killing to stop.”

He also thanked Melania Trump, his wife, for what he called efforts to return displaced Ukrainian and Russian children to their families.
