🔶 Trump Says the U.S. Has Cleared the Entire Strait of Hormuz of Mines

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced that the United States has cleared the Strait of Hormuz of mines and that this important shipping route for commercial transit is now open. Trump emphasized on Monday, August 10, in remarks to reporters at the White House that the United States has “one hundred percent” control over this waterway. He said: “The issue is a bit complex, because they [Iran] sometimes lay mines and we find the mines. As you know, we have cleared the whole strait of mines.”
