🔶 Trump Welcomes Defense Deal Between Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan

Donald Trump, the president of the United States, welcomed the signing of the “Mecca Agreement” between Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan for joint defense, describing it as a sign of greater closeness among the countries in the Middle East region.

Trump wrote in a post he shared on his social network, Truth Social: “This shows how the countries of the Middle East are getting closer to one another, and how countries can eventually defend themselves more effectively.”

The U.S. president described the agreement as a “major, bold and important step” and congratulated the leaders of the three countries.

Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey signed the agreement in Mecca on Friday, August 7. According to these countries, the aim of the agreement is to strengthen collective deterrence against aggressive actions, and under it, an armed attack on any one of these three countries will be considered an attack on all parties.
