Based on the latest joint Reuters and Ipsos poll released on Monday, Donald Trump, the U.S. president, remains at the lowest approval level in his political career. The poll shows that widespread dissatisfaction with how the war with Iran has been managed and with the administration’s economic performance has affected the level of support for him.

Based on the results of this poll, only 33% of Americans approve of Trump’s performance in the White House; a figure that has not changed for the third consecutive Reuters-Ipsos poll.

The poll also shows that 71% of respondents are dissatisfied with how the Trump administration is handling the cost of living in the United States. This dissatisfaction is also seen among some Republican voters.

The price of gasoline and essential food items has continued to rise over the past one and a half years, even as Donald Trump had made controlling inflation and tackling what he called the “abysmal economic performance of Joe Biden” one of his main election promises.
